Swiss Travel Pass — is it worth the price?

If you are planning your Switzerland trip, I am sure you must have come across Swiss Travel Pass (or someone must have suggested you).

On finding out the price of the pass, the first thing that would have come to your mind is — why is it sooooooo expensive?!

Well, let’s break it down to understand is Swiss Pass worth-while to you to would pass on the pass (pun intended).

1. Ask your self, how often would you be travelling, especially on public transport?
   Now, on my trip, I wanted to see every bit Switzerland has to offer. Therefore, I choose to travel on their timely public transport.
2. Would you be seeing excursions?
   Excursions are very expensive as well. But, with a swiss pass, you get up to 50% discount on many mountains and adventure activities.
3. How long would you be staying?
   If you are staying longer than 2 days, then it’s sensible to consider Swiss pass as an option.

Choosing a Swiss Pass or no pass is just a matter of a few minutes analysis. Go through the questions, answer it yourself, and make an informed decision.
